Developed in 2016 in Virginia Beach, VA, Seasquatch Outdoors aims to promote environmental conservation and an appreciation for the outdoors through creative art, bold photography, and readable science.

Jack Monroe, B.S.

Owner, Science Communicator

Jack graduated in May 2020 with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. In college, Jack's research focused on microbial and functional diversity in intermittent headwater streams. Currently, he works as a research assistant in a vaccine research lab. He plans on pursuing a career in academic medicine.

Ben Masters, B.S.

Science Communicator

Ben graduated in May 2020 with a degree in Environmental Sciences and a minor in Biology. In college, Ben's research focused on novel methods in remote sensing of forest ecosystems. Currently, he works as a field technician at the National Ecological Observatory Network in Front Royal, Virginia. He plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in Ecology.

Jason Monroe

Graphic Designer

Jason's creativity and artistic skill has led to the creation of nearly all of Seasquatch Outdoor's designs. He has experience with acrylic, stained glass, found objects, watercolor, and more...
